Our mission
Our main objective is to connect and support golf course, resort and golf facility operators, to support their activities, to provide them with professional assistance and to ensure better conditions for the development of golf and other golf-related businesses such as resort hotels and restaurants, Spa & Wellness and complementary sports activities.

AGH Activity Report 2023–2024
Dear Members,We would like to inform you that the “Activity Report” of our organization, prepared by the AGH Presidium, has been sent to all member entities via email.
Regional Meeting of AGH
On March 5, 2025, the second regional meeting was held for representatives of Prague and selected Central Bohemian golf courses.
CzechTourism – Meeting and Support Plan
A proposal has been made to launch a campaign in cooperation with golf courses to promote golf as part of a broader tourism promotion strategy.
Main Topic – Water
We are awaiting a second meeting with representatives of the ministry. In the submitted proposal - supported by us - the withdrawal of surface water would fall under a no-fee regime.
Green Light for Juniors 2024
Once again this year, we would like to invite all golf courses in the Czech Republic to support an initiative that, for the third year in a row, has been backed by members of our organization - golf course owners and operators.
Creation of a Catalogue of Czech Golf Courses for Tour Operators
This year, AGH has initiated and is currently implementing the creation of a so-called Golf Course Catalogue in the form of a web-based platform aimed at consolidating data on golf courses
AGH Presidium
Before the end of 2024, the new presidium of the association met to review the existing administration and ongoing projects.
Mandatory Liability Insurance for Golf Carts
As part of efforts to address upcoming legislative changes to the law on mandatory liability insurance, AGH has initiated the creation of an amendment proposal.
Golf Course Association Has New Leadership: Tomáš Raška from Prague City Golf Elected President
The General Assembly of the Golf Course Association, z.s. (AGH), took place on November 28, 2024, with the participation of nearly all members (27 out of 32).
Methodology for Removing Land from the Agricultural Land Fund
AGH has engaged in the preparation process of a methodology for removing land from the agricultural land fund, following a request from its member entities.
AGH Supports Junior Golf
In 2022, we enabled junior golfers who ranked in the Czech Golf Federation (ČGF) rankings to train for free at AGH member courses.
Ordinary General Assembly of AGH
The ordinary General Assembly of AGH will be held on March 16, 2023, at the Loreta Golf Club Pyšely resort.
Grant Programs
ZAGH has initiated cooperation with the company Cautor on a grant programs project.

“Green for Juniors” Event Launched Today
The event has started. Course operators and golf resorts within the membership of the Asociace golfových hříšť, z.s., have decided to prepare a support program this year to help promising junior players with their preparation for important sporting performances in the current season.
AGH Launches Its Activities
On March 31, 2022, the founding extraordinary general meeting of AGH took place, which advanced the joint efforts of golf course operators.
Acquisition of New Members
During January 2022, a total of eight joint regional meetings of the Golf Course Association (AGH) took place.
Plan of Regional Meetings
As part of communicating the program and discussing topics that will unite the AGH membership base, we will organize regional meetings right after the New Year.

The tornado that devastated villages in South Moravia in June sparked a wave of solidarity across the country – and golfers joined in!

The aim of the association is to build a strong organization of owners and operators of golf facilities and to become key partners of all entities involved in the development of golf in the Czech Republic, and at the same time to gain a position in the international association of golf courses GCAE.
