Dear friends,
As the re-elected president, I would like to inform you that at its general meeting on November 2, 2021, the Asociace golfových hřišť (AGH) resolved to strengthen its influence on the development of Czech golf.
We want to be a strong association and become an equal partner to the Czech Golf Federation (ČGF) and PGA Czech.
The foundation is the cooperation of owners and operators of golf facilities. To this end, we are preparing an ambitious program aimed at changing the perception of golf among the Czech public, state institutions, and municipal authorities. This is not marketing as it might seem at first glance, but active involvement in ecological programs that will affect the lives of all of us in the near future. We expect this will not only help us access grant programs but also change the public’s view of golf.
To achieve this, we want to rely on a broader base of owners and operators of golf facilities (including driving ranges and indoor centers). Our joint efforts will support the new ČGF president, who, upon election, received a mandate to unite the forces of entities involved in golf development.
It is essential that AGH, if it is to become a strong association, has its own professional team. Experienced staff Jan Loužecký Sr. and Radek Srb are transferring to AGH from the TeeTime team. We have prepared a reasonable funding model for AGH’s activities.
The general meeting confirmed the new AGH leadership:
